From seeds to supper- how exactly do we do it?

The journey of a tiny seed to a delicious, nutritious meal is one of the greatest stories ever told, and it's a journey that we all as humans depend on every day in order to survive.

Follow the steps to the right to learn exactly how Seeds to the World utilizes this miracle of nature to help feed and support third-world nations.

It all begins with a seed...

Billions of tiny, miraculous seeds find their way to the Seeds to the World headquarters when donated by seed producers and sellers all over the country. These seeds come in all shapes and sizes, ranging from boxes upon boxes of commercial seed packets to fifty pound sacks of corn to entire bins containing nothing but lettuce seeds. We consolidate various donations into offers, typically to fill a full forty foot shipping container, and make sure to include a wide variety of product for the potential recipients.

that finds its way to a community in need

From there we communicate with one of the organizations we partner with who would like to include a seed donation with their next shipment to an international community in need. Using this method, we have shipped all over the world, working in tandem with many wonderful non-profits and humanitarian programs along the way. Those donations then arrive at the designated location and are distributed to the locals for planting along with any relevant instruction.

...and is finally harvested

The grand journey and transformation of a humble seed is truly fascinating. And it is even more fascinating to those who cultivate their very own gardens and watch the fruits of their labor progress firsthand, knowing very well that the resulting harvest will help feed themselves and loved ones in the near and far future. So let's keep up the goodwill by bringing more Seeds to the World, shall we?
